Directory structure on Project Server 2003

Thomas

We have a Project Server 2003 installed here and we stored several project
files on it.
Now the question came on the table, is it possible to create a directory
structure on a Project Server?
We want to have a directory for evera project in which we save all project
files which belong to it.
For example:
ProjectA
ProjectA_Design.mpp
ProjectA_Verification.mpp
...

I haven't found any hin for this.
It would be great if someone can help me.
Thanks,
Thomas

No, it is not possible to build a structure of directories and
subdirectories in the Project Server database. Instead, you should create a
custom enterprise Project field with an Outline Code that simulates the
directory structure you want to simulate. Make this a Required field so
that your PMs must choose a value for each of their projects. Then create a
custom Project Center view that includes the custom field and Groups on that
custom field. The Project Center will then show you the directory structure
you seek. Hope this helps.
