I have a directory on the drive that Office 2003 is installed on, called
MSOCache. It also has a subdirectory of "All Users"
It is actually full of CCAB files and other things. It happens also to be a
directory that is neary 300MB in size!

Question is - What is this directory and can I delete it?

Thanks for your help.

This is called the "Local installation source" and makes it so you don't
need the original CDs handy when installing Office Updates. You can delete
it if you'd like, although on modern harddrives, 300 megs is actually pretty
tiny.

You can automatically remove this folder at setup time if you check the box
on the Office Installation "Success" dialog (check "Remove local
installation source").
