I'm trying to write chemical equations and draw molecules with OneNote, and
the automated selection and move features frequently (incorrectly) interpret
my attempts to add groups to the molecules and equations as attempts to move
the previously written or drawn material. Is it possible to disable or
adjust the settings for the automated selection and move features? I rarely
need to move text or drawings on the fly the way OneNote wants to.
Molecule:
x
l
a b c
My practice is to enter the longer part of the molecule first:
a b c
and then add the smaller groups:
x
l
a b c
When I move the stylus to enter the smaller groups, however, OneNote
typically assumes that I'm trying to move part or all of the previously
entered material (the longer part of the molecule. I get the same response
whether the pen input is treated as handwriting or drawing.
Thank you.
