Disable Calendar Option

E

Eric Bergstrom

Hello-
I'd like to disable the following calendar function in an Outlook 2003 client:
Tools/Options/Calendar Options/Resource Scheduling
"Automatically accept meeting requests and process cancellations"
I cannot do this via GPO's natively but my thinking is that I can throught
Command Bar ID's. This this correct? If so, what is the Bar ID for this item?
Barring that, I am sure I can change this through a Registry entry/edit. How
would I design this in such a way so the user cannot make a change to this
item - unchecked and greyed out.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Eric

I don't know why people keep thinking that individual options in Tools |
Options can be suppressed with CommandBars. CommandBars are toolbars and
menus, not dialogs.

I haven't found the registry values for those options. They are not included
in the administrative template for group policy.

Hello Sue-
Well, based upon the documentation I have, one would think that it was
doable. I just could not find the answer.
Now that I know that CommandBars are not a play, I guess I am relegated to a
registry edit of some sort.
Can you assist there?
Thanks for your help.
