Disable Create New Task link

Is there a way to disable a group from creating a new task in a project? I
tried to follow Microsoft permission document but to no avail. It mentions
that if I deny "New Project Task" from the global permission it will disable
the link. However, I can't seem to find this permission? Is it under
Project section of the Global Permission.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The documentation probably needs updating. The global permission is under
General and is called "New Task Assignment"
