Disable Dialup connection

I would like to know how to disable dialup connection or cut someone off to
restrict access.
Can someone please tell me how and give me an example.
Sorry for cross posting but i am not getting the answers that I need.

eventually want to put
it on a timer control.

Hi John, I don't think it's possible to "block" the dial-up access,
once started. But, you could (using the API calls in my post to a
prior question of yours) watch for the On-line state and initiate the
shutdown of a connection.

Hope this helps...if not, post again and maybe I (or someone) can help
further.

Disable dialup access, set time constraints and permissions.

Expensive method 1

1. Remove modem, add network card, lock computer case.
2. Get DSL or cable modem service.
3. Get smart router/firewall with programmable access times and URL/IP
permissions (DLink and others).
4. Configure the permitted times/places by each PC's MAC address.

Expensive method 2

1. Remove modem, add network card, lock computer case.
2. Get Cisco mini-router with built-in modem.
3. Configure the permitted times/places by each PC's MAC address.
