disable excel 2010 - use excel 2007

Hi, I've got Office 2010 installed (with excel 2010) and I've got
excel 2007 installed. I don't like the newer excel version, I prefer
using excel 2007.

Anyways, I've tried running the office 2010 setup wizard, and removed
excel 2010 as a feature.

When I click on my spreadsheets, that same pop up box comes up wanting
me to install excel 2010 again.

How do I get my .xls files associated with 2007?
