disable light blue 'select' box that appears in OneNote?

When using the stylus pen for 'drawing' only, how do you supress or disable
the light blue box that automatically appears behind the just drawn object
until another object is drawn?

Using OneNote 2003, SP1; Windows xp 2005 for Tablet PC
