disable line wrapping

How can I disable word or line wraping in MS microsoft word? Basically
I type with alot of puntuation for a code and no space, and MS word
just randomly decides how much of the line to take to the next line, I
just want when i reach the end for the cursor to goto the next line and
not try to "keep words whole".

I'm a bit confused but I think I understand. Are you asking if you can make
a Word document that doesn't really have a size? For example, if you have a
1875 letter long word (I'm exaggerating for a reason), you want a document
that is wide enough to have the entire word on it and not be hyphenated.
Correct?

If so, it can't be done unless you change the width of your page. And that
is limited by the printer that you have set as a default.

If I've misunderstood, perhaps you can explain yourself a bit better.

Thank you for responding. I want MS Word to ONLY goto the next line if
I hit the margin OR I press return. I want there to always be letters
touching the right margin line, and no hypens, just have the word be
split in 2 parts, one on each line, if the word runs into the margin
with no hypen. I want this because im trying to compact the most I can
on one page, and line spacing and font and word abbrivations have
reached their limit but I see all this varying length white space
between the margin line and the last letter of the last word of each
line. I want MS Word to forget that words and spaces and punctuation
are different when going to the next line.

Try using the "justified" alignment for your paragraphs.

If I understand you correctly then you already have the software on
your PC.

Open wordpad (which is really just a cutdown version of word 6). On
the menu bar goto View -> Options and select 'no wrap'. Then just
type. The characters will appear and continue and will continue on as
you type until you reach the end of the current window. When you
reach the edge the next character will continue on the next line.

Note: this is essentially a one line document

Hope this helps
