disable macros

I am trying to eliminate the pop-up request to
enable/disable macros by erasing the macro. How do I find
it? How do I erase it?

thanks!

Jim,

The most dangerous way to do it is to go into Tools >
Macros > Security and change it from either High or
Medium to Low. ***Remember that this gives you NO
protection from possibly unsafe Macros. Excel will run
them all no matter what.***

ALT-F8 then select and delete it

if not yet gone....

ALT-F11, View>Project Explorer, Select the module it's in and remove without
exporting it

I tried ALT-F8 and no macros showed up - so it looks like
I did delete it - however, when I close the file and re-
open it - I still get the pop-up box asking whether I want
to disable or enable the macros.

Any other thoughts?
