disable menu items

I am trying to disable menu items when a program that I created in MS Excel
is opened (most likely in the open Function). In the program I would like to
limit the user options so they have to follow my lead. I have provided all
the buttons they should need to run the program. I do not want them to adjust
anything.

sorry another quick question, do you know if opening the *.xlb file will
reset the menu ideas just as it does for the toolbars (the way they were when
the file was opened)

Rename or delete the xlb file Josh
This will reset all menus

thats alright i want to be nice to the user, so when they open a different
Excel file my program did not affect their settingings on their computer
