Disable Navigation bar, need code for similar counter

Hi I am not a coder,

I have disabled my navigation buttons but created my own
LARGER buttons.

I can't seem to recreate the same counter that the
navigation button has....what does it count?

I tried a =count but it sucks it doesn't refresh it stays
static.....my main form is linked directly to a table, but
if Access's Navigation Bar can count it....

Does anyone have the code?
