Disable Office Hyperlinks

T

tGoM

okay i am looking for a way to disable the hyperlinks in
all of the office software, to where if you typed in
www.msn.com, you wouldn not be able to click on it to
launch it in IE. I know that word has this feature,
however i could not find a way to do it to the others.
I have tried downloading the resource kit and used
policies, but it didn't not work. Also i tried fortres 101
but it didn't seem to want to stop it either.

any help would be appreciated.

1> If I may ask, why are you trying to prevent this?
2> In PowerPoint, for instance, click Tools | Autocorrect Options |
AutoFormat As You Type | Uncheck "Internet and network paths as hyperlinks.
