Disable preview pane in saved searches

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange Hi all!

When I create a new saved search in Entourage 2008 it has a default previewpane.

I the disable it (View > Preview Pane > None) and save the search, but when I click the saved search next time, the preview pane is back...This drives me crazy!

Can somebody help me to disable the preview pane all together? I dont need it anywhere in entourage...

Any ideas?

The option is not in the saved search but in what you have selected
under View in the Menu bar.

Do this test to verify that your database does not have corruption:
1) Save some messages for testing
2) Create a new blank Identity under Entourage in the Menu bar.
3) Import the test messages
4) Create a saved search

Do you see the same behavior? If yes, you can try rebuilding, but often
rebuilds do not fix odd behavior like this. You would need to manually
move your data into a new Identity. How to manually move your data.
(when import fails and/or you need to move to a new Identity same
version or revert to an older version)
