Disable printing and modifying progmatically

Hi... how do you set progmatically or even thru options so that the word
file when opened would have a diabled printing and modifying.... with
password ideally..

You can use Word 2003 and utilize Information Rights Management (IRM)
for this.

Otherwise there really isn't a foolproof way to do what you want. You
could use VBA but that's easily by-passed.
