The KB article has nothing to do with disabling the pst, it controls the
size and while you may think you can set it to 0, it won;t work and is a
lame way to handle it. The best you can do is 0x00000001 for the max large
key, and 0x001F4400 for max key - neither is 0, which you are attempting to
use. I'm not sure what those values = as far as file size, but it's not
zero - and can lead to lost messages if you set it and users use a pst.

Yes that would be the artical I used also
the DisablePST reg entry...kind of works
unless say there is an existing reference to a PST in the
users profile... in which case it still allows access to
the PST
But in Sue's artical and ref MS artical 832925
there should be better ways to control the PST's in OL2003
but they do not seem to work for me
I added reg entries
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0
\Outlook\PST]
"MaxFileSize"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0
\Outlook\PST]
"MaxLargeFileSize"=dword:00000000
to no effect it would seem
bill
