Disable read-only setting when copying to a CD

When I copy to a CD using Windows XP Home Edition I have
great difficulty with the read-only option. It is hard
to open the data I copy to a CD. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Thats because its a read only media, to amend the data you need to copy it
back to hd, and ensure the read only flag is off.
