François

Hello,
I would like to disable the possibility to save the pictures which are on my
website.
How to achieve this (with only FrontPage 2003). Site is html only.

Thanks.

There are tricks that will make it difficult to grab a picture but even
with scripting and security installed, all someone has to do is "view
source" for the page, search for .jpg or .png or whatever...

They paste the URL from the source into the browser window and voila,
they have your image.

If you use a slicer program, they can either get the pieces or do a
screen capture.

A watermark will provide some protection, but will make your images
ugly.

Tom's links are good, especially Jimco's note on Snagit.

There is also a web site called fusker that people use to grab all
images from any web site... Although some web servers may be able to
block those incursions (check with your ISP).
