Disable shape layout in Visio 2007?

I'm running both Visio 2003 and 2007. In my database diagrams, I tend to
like my entities spaced close together. However, in 2007, I can't get the
program from adjusting the layout however it sees fit. Does anyone know how
to fully disable this?
