Disable stationery in Outlook 2003?

Now i have read the other posts on this topic and they have given me
much help in this area, but now that i have downloaded outlook spy and
the ADM pack used to diable outlook features via GPO, i cannot seem to
find the command ID of the stationery button in the options|mail format
menu. I can find the ID of the options menu using the outlook spy, but
it wont let me look any farther into the options menu to find the id of
just the stationery buttons. I dont want to disable the whole options
menu, just the use of stationery under that. I still want to allow
access to the signatures feature. Someone help!

That's not a command bar button. It has no ID and can't be disable.

To disable stationer, create a NewStationery value in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Common\MailSettings key and leave it blank to prevent users from choosing any default stationery. You can create a new .adm file if you want to add that to the group policy editor.

Use the group policy editor to disable these toolbar commands in both Outlook and Word:

Outlook

Actions | New Message Using More Stationery 5611


Word

Format Background 30403
Format Theme 3623
Format | Background Standard Colors 3224
Format | Background More Colors 2857
Format | Background Fill Effects 2858
Format | Background Printed Watermark 4003

5611 is the one for accessing it trough the Actions menu. I'm not sure if
that it the same one in the Options dialog but worth a shot ;-)

What if that path does not exist in my registry. Because odly, i cannot
find that path anywhere in the registry to make the change.

As stated; create the key. It should exist already up to the "Microsoft"
part.
