I need a way to disable the toolbar printer button when
the current view is a form, and enable the button when
it's a datasheet.
Hope you can help
Thanks,

Assuming that your users probably aren't familiar with customizing menus, my first thought is to remove the button from the toolbar

Open your form as if you were using it. In the View menu, select Toolbars/Customize. Drag the printer from the actual toolbar (not the selection box in the middle of your screen) to your form - make sure there's a little "X" on the button as you drag it. Drop it anywhere as long as it still has the "X". It's gone. When you go to datasheet view (Table or Query), the button will exist there.

The way to verify the differences is to click Toolbars in the Customize box you opened and open the toolbars you want to modify. Try this out and post back when you get some results

Good luck
Dere

Glad to help, Jim! While I find programming helpful, I'm not especially good at it... So, I avoid using it when I post help. I can always refer folks to the Accessweb site, though, too!
