Hi Michele:
If you have "Accepted all changes in document", AND the changes were really
"tracked changes", then they're gone!
However, you do have to then save the document and make sure you email the
correct version
In Word>Preferences>Security, turn on "Warn before printing, sending, or
saving..." to alert you to the fact that the document may have changes you
are not aware of.
Turn on the one above: "Remove personally identifiable..." to strip all the
names out of the document. That means that if you choose to leave tracked
changes in, you will not be able to see who made them.
Hope this helps
Version: 2008; Mac OS X 10.5 -- Word. I have turned off tracked changes;
accepted all changes and saved doc. under a new name. When I email it to a
Windows user all the tracked changes appear. How do I permanently delete all
tracked changes and comments so they won't reappear?
