I am using the web browser control in VB6 to display MS Word RTF documents in
an intranet environment (I was not able to find other vb controls that can
open ms word rtf doc with graphics successfully before). I would like to
disable the File Download - Open or Save confirmation dialog box every time
an RTF file is opened. However, the check box for "Always ask before opening
this type of file" is checked and greyed out so that I cannot uncheck it.
I have tried the Control Panel/Folder Options/File Types/RTF Advanced option
to uncheck the ask before open after download, but it does not make a
difference.
I am using Win2k Pro (sp4) with Office 2002 (sp3) and IE 6. Can any one
help? Thanks!
