Disabled Macros

I have created a document in Word 2000. The document contains many
formfields. I then protect the document using the "Protect document for
Forms" option. I then try to run macros on this document. These macros
have been designed to fill out the formfields. Essentially the macros suck
some information out of various text files to fill out all of the formfields.
This could save alot of time and typing. However, I am finding out that
I cannot get the macros to run. The macros are disabled on the menubar. If
I assign the macro to a toolbar then I get a message that says " The macro
cannot be found or has been disabled beacause of your macro security
settings." My security settings are on low.

Under Word 97, this was not an issue. So I am thinking perhaps Word has
changed. If that is the case I need a work around...... Anybody have any
ideas?
