Howdy.
I'm using Outlook 2000 running under Windows 2000.
I keep accidently disabling Insert mode when typing a message, and I'm
pretty certain that I'm not hitting the Insert key. I've read a bunch
of replies to others who encountered this problem, advising them to
hit the Insert key to enable Insert mode. Sure, that works. I'd just
like to know what the other combination of keystrokes is that's
causing Insert mode to be disabled in the first place. I think it's
something I'm hitting on the left side of the keyboard, having to do
with some combination of Ctrl, Shift, Caps Lock, Tab, Spacebar, and/or
another key. I haven't found a combination that works.
I did figure out that if I do a Ctrl+Spacebar after a word in a
message I'm typing, it changes the text color from the default blue
color to black, just for that one word. Still trying to figure out a
good use for that functionality....
Thanks.
