Back in May of this year, Nancy Cho-- who appears to be from the creators of Office 08--reported that there was no way to turn off the 'are you sure you want to open this' alert when trying to open a hyperlink in PPT. She said she would put that suggestion "in."
That was mid-May. Was this awful problem ever fixed? It's insane that there is no way we can designate our own files-- which we know are safe-- and not prompt the alert. It doesn't help to go through the program and "allow" the hyperlink-- the system does not "remember" that you okayed this one... which looks to me like another failure.
This makes the product much less useful for presentations. Has it been fixed yet?
