Disabling Menu Items in Outlook 2003

rishishah

A number of the Menu Items can be disabled within Outlook through the
use of the Outlook Group Policy Templates.

However there are a few menu items that require the use of command bar
ID to be able to diable them.

Does anybody have the full list of Command Bar ID for Outlook 2003??

Or specifically for the following Menu Items:

1) Within Outlook - View Menu - Hide or Grey Out Reading Pane
2) When creating a new e-mail - Format Menu, Hide or Grey Out HTML and
Rich Text
Any help would be much appreciated.

See http://www.howto-outlook.com/downloads/CommandID2003.xls

Note that disabling a button doesn't disable the functionality. Example; you
can disable the Copy button but this doesn't take away the functionality to
use CTRL+C instead.

But you can disable Ctrl+C with group policy, too.

True, it was an example of illustrating the difference between disabling a
button and disabling functionality ;-)
