Disabling Outlook security

J

Jules

As part of my marketing process, I email past
customers/enquirers with details of Special Offers, (and a
forthcoming newsletter).

I use Mail merge.
On sending, I receive a message saying that a programme is
trying to access my address book - do I want to allow this?
I have to click 'allow' for each email.

I realise that this is part of the Outlook security system
to prevent virus/spam spreading, but as I need to send
several thousand emails, it can be very time-consuming!!

Is there any way to disable this feature so I can automate
the process?

Can you advise?

Are you using another contact manager such as Act, if so what version. I use
Act and it used to give me that message until I did and update to rid myself
of it.
