Calendar Outlook 2002 -- the current full month calendar used to appear in a
box directly above my task bar. It just went away. I can't seem to bring it
back.

It's called the Date Navigator. You've pushed it up and off the screen.

Slowly move your mouse cursor to the top of the TaskPad's column headers and
your cursor should change form to a line with arrows. Click and drag
downwards - there it is!!

Thanks for your help. I did do exactly that which you recommended but the
calendars didn't appear. I had to go into View, Current View, Day/week/month
with auto Preview inorder to get it back. This happened right after I
installed the office update. Thanks again
