Disappearing cell contents

Have spreadsheets that were created in 2003, which we are amending in 2007.
The contents of some of the cells is becomimg invisible. It "re-appears"
when you drag the cursor over it. Sometimes it remains visible, at other
times it goes again??

Possibly a conditional format that turns the text colour to white?

I'm having the same problem. No conditional formatting applied. When you
highlight the cells the data reappears and is visible when the cells are
unselected.

I am also working with a large 2003 workbook (can't update the spreadsheet
because it is a data submission for the vendor). I have 3 other workbooks
open that I am pulling data from for this sheet.

The data remains in the cell but just becomes invisible when scrolling
through the sheet, etc. so it is more annoying than problematic.
