Disappearing Characters

Hi,

I am having a problem withat is annoying the life out of me. It seems when I
make a typing error and go back to fix it if deletes the next character,
then I have to end up re-typing the rest of the text for the whole page and
or paragraph. Is there a way to turn this off.

If you are using MS Word the first thing to check is to make sure you do not
have "overwrite" function turned on. You can look at the bottom of your
document and see a button labeled "OVR", click it or simply push the
"Insert" key on your keyboard. Either one will turn the overwrite function
off, after that your keyboard is in the insert mode.
