Apple's latest security update (2005-08) has caused my Entourage to
act very strangely, noteably the disappearing color dots from my
Project Center. Has ANYONE brought this to Apple's attention? I could
use another secutiry update to fix this problem ASAP.
I think a few thousand people have drawn Apple's attention to this by now.
Plus Microsoft, who are working with Apple, to help track it down. Did you
expect Apple to know exactly where in their code there's something that
conflicts with something in a third-party application's obscure feature like
this, and fix it for you the same day? There won't be anything in their code
that specifically targets Entourage Project dots, you know. This will have
been something totally inadvertent, and will take some detective work to
find out what the problem is.
You could always do an Archive & Install of the OS, then reinstall all OS
updates except for this latest Security Update, if you don't want to wait.
