Disappearing Contacts Subfolders

J

James W

We have a user who we have just upgraded to Win 2000. She
was using Office 2000 before the upgrade and is still
using it. When she goes into a new email the subfolders
within her contacts are not displayed under the "Show
Names from the" section. The subfolders are being
displayed correctly in the Folder List though. Any
asdvice would be appreciated.

I checked and Outlook 2000 is configured in the
Corporate/Workgroup mode on this pc.

You can follow the instructions in the following article to get all of
your desired Contacts folders to show in the Outlook Address Book in
Outlook 2000 CW:

Outlook 2002 doesn't have separate modes, actually, but that's OK, I can
still help you :) The following MSKB article tells you what you need
to do:

I have found the solution. If you right click on the
subfolder and look at it's properties, then go to the
Outlook Address Book tab, there is a box that says "show
this folder as an email address book". Put a tick in the
box and it will now show up in the drop down list.

Excellent Work James W.! That is awesome. My boss says
now he has nothing to complain about because all of his
outlook works. Thanks.
