Disappearing Contacts

I have a customer running Exchange 2000 Server and Outlook
2k clients, contacts seem to just be disappearing at
random.

I have checked if any filters are in use and the views are
set to address card and they are both fine.

I have also checked that Norton Anti-Virus is not scanning
any of the Exchange folders as this could potentially
cause a problem aswell but i have already excluded them.

If anyone has any ideas then it would be much appreciated.
