justasking
I use the "Category" field in the Project Properties box to sort plans and
many customized project fields. I have created a view in Project Center to
display the plans in a certain order. (I want to avoid using numerous
Enterprise Outline fields that users might accidently change.)
I find that occasionally the "Categories" field fails, and plans will
appear as "no value" in the view. I then have to re-publish the plan, which
fixes this.
I know an outline view is the best practice - is there a way to lock out
users from changing it? (I know there is a macro to re-publish all the plans
at the same time.)
Any help is appreciated. I have a full-blown 2003 set up here.
