Disappearing file

Spent days producing newsletter and now it won't open.
Searched .tmp files and nothing there, although I saved
whenever asked and when closed.
Tries to open then "This program has performed an illegal
operation and will be shut down" Details are
MSPUB caused an invalid page fault in
module MSPUB.EXE at 017f:00504275.

What version Publisher? Try opening the publication in safe mode. If all fails you
can go to Open, files of type, recover text from any file.
