I am using MSVDM and
Excel 2003 sp1 part of MS Office Prof Ed 2003, windows xp pro sp2.
I have disappearing commandbars and menubar.
If I have Excel open and switch to another desktop and then switch back in
MSVDM, the menubar and commandbars are gone. If I close the spreadsheet and
reopen it, then they return. I can't seem to get them back any other way.
I've tried some solutions found here and elsewhere to no avail.
I've opened the immediate window and cut and pasted in
CommandBars("Worksheet menu bar").Enabled = True
Application.CommandBars("Cell").Enabled = True
....nothing happens
I've tried renaming the excel11.xlb. On next opening a new xlb is created
but still the same behavior.
I've looked for macros and haven't found any.
I have one menu add-in adobe PDF that I cannot seem to get rid of.
That's it.
Anyone have any ideas.
I'd be most grateful for a solution here!
Thanks!
