Disappearing mouse pointer!!

R

Ray

I am working on a PowerPoint set of slides that has 119 slides in the file.
After I have been working on the file for a while when I select a new slide
from the Slides displayed along the left side, and the mouse pointer
disappears. I have set the mouse pointer configuration so I can press the
ctrl key and it shows me where the pointer is. If I click on the previous
slide the pointer comes back then I reselect the next slide and the pointer
stays visible.
This is the 2003 SP2 version of PowerPoint.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this annoying problem?
Thanks
