Disappearing OAB

I have a user who keeps losing their Outlook Address Book
in Outlook 2002 (also using roaming profiles and
redirected files, in case that makes any difference).
Regularly, he will log on and not be able to access his
Contacts through the OAB, and the 'Show this folder in
Address Book' box is greyed out. Sure enough, I have to
go in and add the OAB again. Why is this happening? What
can I do so that it stays there?
