Disappearing Printers Drivers after install of Office 2007

Hi All,

I have been having problems with EWD. I have installed MS Office
Professional ver. 2007 a few days ago. After the install is when I notice
that, I cannot save my EWD master.dwt file (I understand this problem will be
fixed in an upcoming release.)

In addition, I am having problems with my Brother (MFC 4200CN) printer. When
trying to print I no longer have print drivers. My printer drivers disappear
from my computer, “completely.†So I do a driver search right clicking on My
Computer, clicking on Properties, then clicking on the Hardware Tab and then
Device Manger, No printer drivers, gone…Therefore, I installed them again,
and then after I get the error master.dwt my printer drivers completely
disappear again.

NOTE: (Prior to installing Office 2007 Professional, I never had problems
with EWD, none whatsoever.)

So now, I am thinking I have been highjacked or have a virus-nope none on
this machine.

What is uninstalling my printer drivers? Could it be a problem with EWD or
perhaps with Beta - MS Office Professional ver. 7?

Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions how to fix my disappearing
printer drivers?

I have posted this on EWD also-with no luck so far. Sorry to repost, but
this could be a major flaw.

Your not going to find printer drivers in Device Manager>Hardware Tab
Try Control Panel>Printers

Use SharePoint Designer from Office 2007 Beta 2. You won't see a
difference to EWD. The next CTP of EWD should be significantly different
from SPD.

Hi Patrick,

AND THANK YOU...took youy advice and uninstalled EWD and installed
SharePoint Designer. Fixed all the printer problems and master.dwt file can
now be updated and saved.
