I work in the IT dept of a public University. On two separate occasions I've
had staff or students ask me why their shapes or diagrams disappear. One had
it happen in word and I just got another that had it happen in Powerpoint.
They are able to select the shape, but can't see it. In other words when
they click on where the shape or picture should be, the handles to move or
resize it are there, but the picture isn't. In the case of the Powerpoint
user, when she ran the slideshow, she could see the pictures but when looking
at the individual slide they were invisible. What would cause this and how
do we fix it. I thought it may be an issue of one shape being on top of
another but that was not the case. Any ideas would be appreciated.
