Disappearing shared calendars?

D

Dave Thursby

This has happened a few times over the last year but it would be nice to see
what can cause it.

Outlook 2007, I have a number of shared calendars set up in my Navigation
Panel. Close down at night no problem. Next day they ahve all gone and
generally, the Nav Panel has changed slightly.

Anyone else had this and know the reason?

Outlook not shutting down and saving the settings before you power off,
issue usually caused by some addin preventing the shutdown. Outlook
disappears from desktop but if you look in TaskManager it will still be
listed in processes.

This happens when Outlook doesn't close property and the changes are not
written to the navigation pane. The usual cause of this is syncing with a
pda or other programs accessing outlook data but it will also happen if
outlook crashes.

See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/close.asp for possible causes of
outlook not closing properly.
