disappearing side note

the side note icon on the task bar has disappeared for the second time. I
some how resolved the problem the first time but now I can't find the fix.
The icon appears in the taskbar and menu properties customizing window, but
when I depress Apply and OK it still does'nt appear. I installed Microsoft
Office Home and Student 2007 Trial version.

In OneNote, go to Tools->Options->Other, uncheck the "Place OneNote
icon..." option, then check it again. That should fix it.
