Disaster!--my new head of school having huge Duplicate Email Problems

T

tech

I have been managing a small independent school's technology for over
a year. I have set up about 40 new Entourage Exchange-based accounts
and have managed about 90 accounts--all with no major problems.

I set up my incoming, new head of school with a brand new MacBook Pro
17" and the typical Entourage email.

She also has a Blackberry and set up synching with Pocketmac.

Disaster! About two weeks after using her new Entourage account
(successfully) and about a week after synching with Pocketmac
(successfully) all the sudden her email is a disaster:

-over a hundred emails mysteriously appeared in the Drafts folder (she
never saved any drafts).

-The "folders on my computer" suddenly received hundreds of emails in
various folders, even though this account wasn't even set up to
receive anything!

-Her sent mail is starting to receive strange long, non-sense messages
with Blackberry in the header--I assume they are from a problem with
the Internet Email on her Blackberry.

Needless to say, she is less than pleased and my work at making a good
impression has been sabotaged!

Has anyone heard of problems like this suddenly appearing? Any
suggestions for the best way to fix?

Has anyone gotten support from Pocketmac? I'm guessing this problem
may come from synchronization errors or corruptions?

Here's my plan:

-rebuild the Eintourage database. If this does not resolve, contact
Microsoft support (for entourage help) and PocketMac support (to see
if this is a synch problem).

I'm wondering if I will need to completely delete her email account,
both locally on her Mac and on the exchange server and reset the
Blackberry and start over.

Thanks for any advice!

This does not sound like a rebuild problem. I would try PocketMac first.
Reports back on Microsoft support isn¹t great.
