Disbale RSS Feeds Folder in Outlook 2007 with Group Policy

I've already posted this on the Technet site but they pointed me over here.
Below is my post.

As the title says I'm trying to disable RSS Feeds in Outlook 2007 but
I'm not having any luck. I've read the stuff on technet (http://
technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc179173.aspx) about this and
several other blogs etc and they all seem to say it's all very simple.
However the setting just aint working for me. I'm going to User
Configuration\Administrative Templates\Microsoft Office Outlook
2007\Tools | Account Settings\RSS Feeds\Turn Off RSS Feature in the
imported template (I've tried the ADM and ADMX versions) and setting
it to Enabled but the RSS Feeds folder is still there in Outlook. If I
look in the registry of the computers being effected by the policy
then the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft
\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options\RSS\Disable is indeed set to 1 so the
feature should be disabled so how come the RSS Feeds are still there?

Setting this policy stops me adding any new feeds from the Account Settings
screen but it does not remove any currently configured RSS feeds which is
what I want to do.

We are using Exchange 2005 SP2 RU9 in conjunction with Outlook 2007
SP2.

You're correct I am. So do you know how to remove existing RSS folders within
a user's mail stores in Exchange. I've had a look at Managed Default Folders
in Exchange but they are more about retention time than actually removing the
folders entirely.

Also, do you know if after I have disabled RSS feeds with Group policy
whether already existing feeds can still download content?

It sounds like you are confusing feeds with folders- see
