discussion board wizard - can't find .aspx files

I have created a discussion board using the wizard in FP 2003. Now I am
trying to create a threaded view using the instructions posted on
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/frontpage/HA010990371033.aspx?pid=CL100570711033

The problem is, that FP did not create the folders/files (Lists folder, file
AllItems.aspx) that are needed to accomplish this task.

I have tried viewing the hidden files and folders, and asked our network
admin to configure FP server extensions and IIS to allow .aspx files,
rebooted servers and tried again, and its still not working.

What am I doing wrong?

This article is not discussing the discussion board that comes with FP. It
is for sites using various SharePoint Services templates. The FP discussion
board was designed to use the FP Server Extensions. Almost a decade later,
MS introduced SharePoint Services for more collaboration and these use
ASP.Net on the server to create discussion groups as opposed to the
discussion group in the FP Server Extensions. These instructions will not
work for the normal FP discussion groups.

Hope this helps,
