Discussion group search doesn't appear to be working

I posted a question in the Project Server group with the title "Can't add
calendar exceptions for resources (vacations, etc.)"

Since there doesn't appear to be an easy "Show me my submissions" option, I
tried searching the Project Server group for "add calendar exceptions for
resources" but search did not find my entry. Am I expecting too much?

Hi Chris in San Diego,

No, it's not you. The "alert by email" and the search features
have been malfunctioning for awhile. I notice you did find your
submission in the Project Server Newsgroup along with Dale's reply.

As Rob noted, google groups is likely the best answer to find
your posts and using a newsreader (Thunderbird, Agent, etc) makes
life in the newsgroups much easier.

Hi Trevor,

I tried just "calendar" and lots of entries were found, but not mine and
nothing for 2010; they were all older posts.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Rob,

I'm using the IE/browser interface. I'll look for a newsgroup reader and
give it a try.

Thanks for the tip and link,

Chris

Hi Julie,

I feel better now. :) Yes, I was able to find my submission by scrolling
through all the postings, looking for the date I submitted it, and reading
the titles.

I'm not familiar with news readers, but I'll follow Rob's link and see what
I can learn.

Thanks,
Chris

You're welcome Chris. Many of the "regulars" use news readers or
post directly through Google groups.

The web site is difficult to maneuver around and finding posts is
a big challenge.

A real newsgroup reader will be useful to you. Keep in mind that no
matter which browser (you use IE) you use, the real issue in this
instance is the web site you are using. The site may or may not be a
good feed of newsgroup postings.
