My Outlook 2000 systematically turns off after 30 sec.
The source of the problem seems to be the data1.msi file

Need the cure.

What makes you say that?

Can you provide any more info about this? Then we've got some information to
work with in trying to suggest "the cure".

"Turns off" means WHAT? That Outlook disconnects from the mail server
as it is supposed to after a mail poll? That Outlook unloads? That
Windows shuts down? That the power to your host goes off?

An .msi file is used to install a program, not to run it.
