Disk full error saving to CDRW

I'm running Windows XP and Office XP and have a CDRW drive
with DLA (Drive Letter Access).

When I try to SAVE a Word document (XP which is Word
version 10), I always get a "Disk Full" error saving to my
CDRW even though it has been formatted and has no files on
it.

I can however, save the document as a RTF (rich text
format), or as an earlier version of Word with no problem

Is there a workaround for this problem?

Don't save directly to any removable media.
Save to your HD then copy it to the disc.
The same goes for opening a file (copy to the hd and open it from
there).

Thanks for the help, but I finally figured it out.

I uninstalled the IBM "DLA" and RecordNow software
applications that came with my PC, and replaced them with
Nero's Ultra 6 and INCD (packet writing) apps... and this
now works fine.

There must have been something incompatible with Word 10
and the DLA (Drive Letter Access) that came with PC.
