Information: Windows 2003 domain and Windows 2003 file server, client = Windows 98 with DS client and Excel 97.
Hi there.. check this one out then. When saving .xls documents on Windows 2003 server shares i get the "disk is full" and "document not saved" error. I have check permission on file server, i am authenticated, disabled any kernel filter drivers ( antivirus & backup ), done a network monitor scan, get SMB error "trans2" "file not found" in a frame...
Tried it on 5 diffrent computers. The file(s) can contain embedded objects, macro and just ordinary newly created empty documents. When working with the documents from a Office XP suite, it works fine.
If I delete a worksheet from the document (.xls) i can succesfully save the document. However, the error is not always consequent. SMB signing is not activated on the domain level...
Damn...
Any1 ?
